Abstract

The first authentic privileges in human history, which arose in the period XXX-VII century BC in the Ancient East, are analyzed. These tribal privileges appeared in the city-states of Mesopotamia, Sumer, Akkad, and Assyria, and directly affected the tribal aristocracy in these societies. Relevant conclusions have been made about the reasons for their genesis, distribution and development in the ancient world.
