With the rapid advancement of information technologies, the automotive industry is moving towards intelligent vehicles capable of communicating with each other and their surroundings.

The first aspect examined is the influence of connectivity as a tool for increasing safety in automotive transportation. This connectivity allows vehicles to obtain real-time information about traffic conditions, road incidents, and accidents. Such information can be utilized to prevent collisions, warn drivers about hazardous situations, and provide assistance systems for safe driving.

The second aspect is the utilization of connectivity as a means to enhance traffic efficiency. Through connectivity, intelligent traffic systems can be created to optimize traffic flow, minimize congestion, and improve overall traffic fluidity. These systems can offer alternative routes, inform about optimal travel times, and enhance coordination between traffic signs and signals.

The third aspect is connectivity as a tool for early issue detection in vehicles. By connecting vehicles to the internet, their technical status can be monitored, and potential malfunctions or system failures can be diagnosed in advance. This information can be utilized for accident prevention, maintenance planning, and ensuring safe and reliable vehicle operation. In conclusion, connectivity plays a significant role in enhancing safety and efficiency in automotive transportation. Leveraging its potential can improve vehicle safety, optimize traffic flow, enable early issue detection, and facilitate traffic coordination. However, it is crucial to implement adequate security measures and privacy protection to minimize risks associated with cyber-attacks and unauthorized access to vehicle systems.
Milan Mališ, Jozef Kočík Copyright (c) 2023 Milan Mališ, Jozef Kočík https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ https://politics-security.net/index.php/ojsdata/article/view/202 Fri, 30 Jun 2023 00:00:00 +0300 Safety of medical personnel in the world https://politics-security.net/index.php/ojsdata/article/view/203
Medical personnel are exposed to many risks, meeting the requirements for ensuring an adequate level of safety is extremely difficult due to the complexity of healthcare in different countries. In addition, there are new threats, such as the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic, which also caused the death of medical staff in contact with this virus on a daily basis, and from 2022, the war in Ukraine, which forced medical staff to adapt to previously unknown conditions for treating patients and face the real threat of bombing cities, lack of electricity, access to water, treatment in shelters and field conditions. It is also important to understand the issue – safe medical staff – safe patient. Another new threat to medical staff is also medical innovations – modern technologies, treatment methods in medicine and the need to train medical staff also in terms of their own and patients' safety. The level of safety of medical personnel can be considered in three organizational, technical and human categories. In building an appropriate level of safety, it is important to make the staff aware of the importance of the “safety culture” and the knowledge that each person working as medical staff is responsible for the level of safety not only for their own, but also for patients and non-medical staff. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), many patients suffer permanent damage to their health or death as a result of malpractice in the delivery of healthcare. The safe and quality delivery of health care is key to ensuring that errors and mistakes in patient care do not occur in the health sector. Lack of patient safety is a serious public health problem as well as a heavy burden on limited financial resources in the health sector. One of the most serious adverse events is the acquisition of a hospital-acquired infection during a patient's hospitalisation in a healthcare facility. Evidence of it points to malpractice by health care personnel in following the principles of barrier nursing care.
Zuzana Kecerová , Matúš Baran Copyright (c) 2023 Zuzana Kecerová , Matúš Baran https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ https://politics-security.net/index.php/ojsdata/article/view/204 Fri, 30 Jun 2023 00:00:00 +0300 Trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan https://politics-security.net/index.php/ojsdata/article/view/200
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan and identify opportunities for future growth.
