Make your competitors act on your pricing
Abstract
Successful companies have a good understanding of who their competitors are, what they are good at and what they are not. Managers see this and instead of reacting directly to competitors' moves, they strategically determine where and when to respond. And they know how best to respond in order not to hurt customers or trigger a price war. When these insights and actions turn into an efficient competitive information system, it will result in a long-term competitive advantage and will stop losing money in ineffective price wars with competitors.
