The main purpose of the company is to increase the price of its shares. Share prices are determined in the financial markets; so if financial managers have to make good decisions, they need to understand how these markets work. In addition, individuals make personal investment decisions, so they also need to know how to deal with the financial markets and institutions that operate in these markets. That is why in this article we describe the markets in which capital, securities are traded and stock prices and the institutions that trade in those markets are established.
