Abstract

The article examines some of the achievements of Bulgarian national political thought regarding the creation of the future Bulgarian state after the liberation from Ottoman slavery. In particular, the political ideas of the Sofronius Political Center on the character of the new Bulgarian state and its national security are being discussed. Relevant conclusions are drawn from the issues considered.
