In recent years, there is a close cooperation between Croatia and Ukraine in the field of psychological rehabilitation and professional adaptation of war veterans. Joined sport events, conferences, seminars, etc. are also organized. According to numerous publications in the media, the Ukrainian state intends to apply the “Croatian model” for socialization and adaptation of veterans to civilian life. This article briefly examines the benefits of the adaptation of veterans in Ukraine, which, in our view, will obtain a socio-political character, following the so-called “Croatian experience”.
